Title-Nanotechnology Research and Development - Jie Han
Experimental and computational nanotechnology for biosensors and molecular electronics

Graphics bullet Lead and coordinate experimental nanotechnology efforts in (1) the carbon nanotube based microscopy probes, field emitters, electrode and electronics biosensors, nanolithography, and molecular electronics; (2) the organic molecular wires and electronic devices; and (3) biochip nanotechnology, and (4) nanopore nanotechnology for single molecular
detection.
Graphic bullet Carry out computational nanotechnology research on the above mentioned experimental nanotechnology projects. Use Gaussian, tight-binding, LDA, DFT and molecular dynammics simulations to study structrual, mechanical, electrical and optical properties of carbon nanotubes, molecular wires, polymers and biological molecules.
